Sword made of 15n20 and k720 damascus steel with etched runes just like shown in the film.
Guard and pommel both mild steel with copper wire inlays.
Stacked handle of iroko wood and mild steel.
Overall length just shy of 1meter (40inch) with 15cm (6inch) handle.
The pommel construction is not based on historical pieces, all just my own ideas.
I made it this way to replicate the two pins I saw in the movie one.
It’s very solid with one tapered pins that locks the handle stack and guard and the two pins peened over the bottom “cap”.
Very happy with how it turned out!
