Alright, I might have gone a bit too far with the handle to call it a restoration, as always! But I had a lof of fun! And it’s always a nice challenge to work with some limitation like pin holes and experiment with new materials composition. I’m loving this thin cork layer, actually thinking about making an handle only with that! And yes, I have left the spine rough, I know many of you don’t like that but I do, I want to keep something that resembles the original texture and I definetly wanated to leave the makers mark “P”. Knife is 280mm overall with 150mm blade, 54mm wide and just over 2mm thick. Dark wood is Wengè and light wood is teak.
