Hand vise are very useful for holding small objects that need to be worked by hand. By now I have quite a good selection of these in various sizes and I use some of them very often, especially when I need to file something small like one of my cast keychain.
All the hand vise I have where bought at flea markets, being common to find these are also very affordable (got this one for 3€).
Made this restoration video to show you the proces I go through to clean and fix these going for the extra mile and making this one “pretty”.
You may think it’s a waste of time, probably true, but it’s nice to take some extra care with tools sometime just for the fun of it.
